Boxing Video Archive FAQs

We find the very boxing videos online so you don't have to! Why spend your precious time looking for your favorite boxing fights or videos when they may already be listed in our boxing video archive? We currently have several hundred videos listed and we are continually adding more.

What makes Boxing Society's boxing video archive different from the many other boxing video sites on the web?

Too many video websites and blogs these days are either hard to navigate, have too many dead videos and broken links or contain pop-up windows and other annoying ads. Sorry to say, many of them are just built poorly. We took our time to build this archive so it is clean looking and very easy to browse.

How easy is it to browse the archive?

Visit our boxing video archive here, boxingvideos.boxingsociety.com, or by clicking the 'VIDEOS' link located at the top of each boxingsociety.com web page and start browsing by professional boxer immediately, OR, you can browse the archive via the following categories below: (NOTE: These category links are also located on the homepage and/or at the top of every boxingsociety.com web page.)

*cannot be browsed by professional boxer

Many video blog web sites end up having too many streams that no longer work or broken links. Do you keep your boxing video archive maintained and updated as best you can?

Yes! Unlike many web sites, we make it a top priority to keep our boxing video archive, and all our pages, clean and updated. We manually go through our entire web site and remove any dead links and video streams on a regular basis. What does this mean? If you see a video you want to watch, chances are, it most likely still works.

What kind of boxing videos do you list?

With the thousands of boxing vidoes on the web, we chose to only include authentic ones in our archive. What does this mean? They are from professional and/or original sources, such as HBO, ESPN, Yahoo Sports and others, not 'homemade' videos. An example of this would be ESPN's Top 20 Boxers of all Time. Only in certain rare instances, when the video is exceptional, will we include a 'homemade' or 'non authentic' video in our archive. An example of this would be The Best of Marvin Hagler.

You said your archive is kept clean and updated, why then are some pages still blank with no video?

Most of the time a video does not seem to be working is because it just needed more time to load before you left the page it was on. This is most often true with foreign video site feeds such as Pacquiao vs Diaz (YouKu.) However, even some non foreign streams may take time to load such as Mayweather Jr vs Nunez (MegaVideo). Here is the bottom line: if you visit a page and it appears blank at first with no video, be patient. A blank page means the video has not loaded yet. Depending on your ISP speed, some video feeds may take up to one minute to load or even much longer.

I want to have a video removed from your archive, how do I do that?

Boxing Society DOES NOT stream, upload or store any of its OWN videos. We ONLY provide external links and/or streams to boxing videos already found online at third party web sites such as youtube.com, dailymotion.com, megavideo.com and others. Any videos found on these web sites are the responsibility of those sites, not Boxing Society.

If you wish to have a video stream or URL removed properly from our archive, please contact the corresponding third party web site* of the video or URL you wish to have removed, as they are the ones who are hosting the actual video. You can easily find the source of most videos by clicking on the actual video once it starts playing. Often times, we provide the original source URL ourselves below the video.

*NOTE: Almost all third party video hosting sites such as YouTube, Daily Motion, MegaVideo and others have very easy video removal policies.
